Born and raised in Kings-Hants, Kody is a devoted community leader with a track record of success.

His passion for serving his community started through coaching minor sports in East Hants — as a former competitive athlete himself. He also created and led the East Hants Sport Heritage Society and the Come Home East Hants Association.

Since becoming the MP for Kings-Hants, Kody has been a strong champion for Nova Scotians in the House of Commons as Chair of the Liberal Atlantic Caucus. Kody is focused on creating good jobs locally, supporting our agriculture sector, being an advocate for small business, and delivering on the shared priorities of Atlantic Canadians.

Kody lives with his wife Kimberly and their Bernese Mountain Dog Louis.
